The elements used to create the hierarchy of the document (that is, all the elements defined up to this chapter) contain an element enclosing meta-information.

Some block elements also contain an element of this kind: Sidebar, MediaObject, InlineMediaObject, VideoObject, AudioObject, ImageObject, TextObject and MediaObjectCO.

The name of the element enclosing the meta-information is created by adding the termination Info at the name of the parent element. For example, the meta-information for a Chapter is enclosed in an element named ChapterInfo.

An exception is made for elements enclosing an object: (MediaObject, InlineMediaObject, VideoObject, AudioObject, ImageObject, TextObject and MediaObjectCO). The name of the element enclosing meta-information for all these elements is named ObjectInfo.

These meta-information elements all contain one or several of the following elements, in any order:
